How I can set up Xbox Live with an ethernet cable and a laptop with internet connection?
I have a laptop that connects to the Internet wireless. I tried to set up Xbox Live several times and each time I lose connection on my laptop. When attempting to direct, taking over the ethernet cable but not the IP address even though I added manually and auto would not work. please help in any way you can sign, desperate to play
It is much easier to buy a small router DHCP server. They go for under $ 50. Or buy the xbox wireless adapter. If you want to connect the Xbox through laptop then you must use a crossover cable. A standard Ethernet cable will not work.
