Top 7 things to do with your PSP plus games

Okay, so most people buy a PSP to play, right? But what if you are just not sure you need another game system? And what to do with the PSP until a game you've been waiting for comes out? Like its big brother, the PlayStation 2, the PSP can do more than play.

Some additional features of the PSP will be more useful than others, but it's great to have them all and each new system update adds new things to play.

1) Listening to music:

The PSP is a multimedia player that can play video and audio files much like an iPod. With a PC, a USB cable and a memory device, you can download music to your PSP and listen on the road. Can which is not a big deal if you already have an MP3 player, but instead of having separate machines for games and music, with the PSP only carry one. You may have a memory larger than the stick that comes in the box, but are getting cheaper every day.

2) Watch Movies:

According to some reports of a few, sales of UMD movies on the PSP are higher than sales games. However, the PSP makes a nifty portable movie player. You can buy movies on UMD, or transfer your own DVD movies on a memory stick. The PSP screen may seem too small to watch movies, but it's really super strong, and the audio is fine with headphones. And I swear I saw a player Portable DVD Player at Walmart laptop with a screen about the same size as the PSP.

The keyboard "could take some getting used to, but if you've ever sent a text message on your cell phone, you should have no difficulty. You may not want to bother by websurfing at home on your PSP, especially if you have a desktop computer or laptop to hand, but if you're outdoors, you can access any open wireless points. Why carry a laptop when all you need is your PSP?

5) See in the Dark:

You could consider this a stretch, but I found bright PSP screen useful on several occasions, as the attempt to sign a form of assistance in a completely dark place audience (I could never have found my name on the list if I had not got my PSP and turned it on.) On another occasion, I had to sneak into a room dark where my roommate was sleeping. I could not have found what I wanted without waking it not for my PSP.

6) PSP Keyboard Mod:

Although not very practical, the homebrew PSP keyboard mod allows users to create and save text files. Apparently Logic 3 has been trying to develop a keyboard for the PSP some time ago but have been beaten to it by a homebrew hacker, whose new application allows you to save short notes. txt on your console

7) PSPhone:

That's right, a modder has managed to create a custom phone chip for the PSP, which surprisingly, is able to receive incoming calls, and display the signal strength Current.

Although currently unable to make outgoing calls, PSPhone is also capable of communicating via CDMA and GSM cellular networks. I'm still working how to resize it and put it into mass production.
