Games Workshop-Can I use any black spray paint to coat your models?
Or you may only use the Citadel spray, so it works better? Because I buy a can for only $ 3.50 at a thrift store and is black. Do I have to use Citadel?
Any brand will do the job, but I recommend using acrylic matte spray. High gloss enamel aerosols are not suitable for the lower layer for wargame miniatures and aerosols are cellulose definite no no. To achieve good results when spraying, spray shake vigorously for about sixty seconds and spray outside or in a room with a lot ventilation at a distance of about 30 centimeters. Misty is better to apply thin 'to treat several coats of a single thick coat. Do not spray into an area long time – the work of spraying the whole model. When finished spraying, keep your head down and can be sprayed in the air for a few seconds before wiping with a rag soaked in turpentine substitute. This helps keep the nozzle clogging dry paint. Do this if you find that the spray paint chokes nozzle and spray the workspace.
