Question about Stereo Headset with PS3 games?
I'm a little confused about the functionality of a USB stereo handsfree. I do not know whether the issues on the model I'm looking at (Plantronics Audio 655 USB Headset) I want to buy a stereo headset for the PS3 games, and I'm looking at some headphones that are made for PC. Since USB is a universal format, I think you can use a PC USB headset with the PS3 right? And if I'm using the Plantronics 655, you just be able to connect and go? Or do I have to buy some cables so that the game sounds coming through the headset, with voice chat? Thank you very much for any help!
USB may be universal, but still need the software drivers () at the other extreme of using that device. The PS3 does not have drivers for this device. So even if plugged, the PS3 is ignored. You must use headphones that specifically say they support the PS3, or will not work.
